Partners in Education

The Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara has forged an enduring collaboration with Partners in Education. The two organizations regularly co-host workshops for area students and are now exploring new joint programming opportunities.

Santa Barbara-based Partners in Education is dedicated to preparing youth for college, career, or simply the next grade by creating skill-building opportunities for students in grades TK through 12. This it accomplishes through partnerships with other area organizations.

Formed in 1977 as the Industry Education Council by local business and education leaders, it adopted its current name and attained nonprofit status in 2000. A decade later, it expanded its programming throughout Santa Barbara County.

Today, the organization boasts an extensive network of volunteers and more than 100 school and nonprofit partners countywide.
